TREATING PEOPLE WITH CARE

Privacy & care.

Updated October 2, 2026.

What this site collects

When you submit a request, the site stores the type of request, adult contact name, phone or email, optional town, your message, and the date you consented. Authorized site coordinators can add follow-up notes and update the status.

Information is stored in the website's hosted database. Request support, volunteer, supply and partnership records are not published on the public pages. Access to the ministry desk requires sign-in and an authorized coordinator account.

Prayer requests and the public board

Prayer requests store your words, your public or private choice, an optional display name, consent dates and coordinator review notes. No contact details or account are required. If you choose anonymity or “Please pray for me,” no display name is saved.

Private prayers are visible only to authorized coordinators and cannot be published. Public requests appear only after your consent and coordinator approval. Coordinators may remove private details; only the approved wording, optional public display name, request date and prayer-response count appear on the board. Private notes and the original request are never included in the public board response.

Public text may be copied by visitors or indexed by search engines. Anonymous means no name is shown; details you write may still identify you. General words are best. Keep the reference shown after submission and contact J-STAR to request removal. Removal from this site cannot remove copies someone else saved.

“I’m praying for you” saves a response without publishing your identity. A random first-party browser cookie lasts up to one year and helps prevent counting repeated responses from the same browser. The database stores a hashed browser identifier, not a name or contact details. Clearing cookies or changing browsers can allow another response. Counts are acknowledgments, not verified totals of people or prayers.

What to leave out

Do not submit children's names, identification numbers, exact private addresses, medical records, bank information, or other sensitive documents. This site does not accept file uploads. Discuss sensitive needs directly with the ministry.

How requests are handled

The desk is reviewed manually. Saving a request does not mean someone has read it, approved it, or arranged assistance. This website does not send automatic email or text notifications. Call (903) 424-1757 for current availability or time-sensitive questions.

Access, corrections, and deletion

Contact the site coordinator who gave you this site, or call J-STAR, to ask about your request. Provide your reference number when available. An authorized coordinator can correct follow-up records or delete a request from the application. Routine exports and provider backups may have separate retention, so do not submit highly sensitive information.

Basic operation

The application does not add advertising trackers. Hosting services may process standard access and security information. A short-lived security counter helps limit repeated submissions. Sign-in cookies are handled by the hosting platform.

Other websites

Facebook, map links, and published reports have their own policies. This site does not collect financial donations. Confirm giving arrangements directly with Patrick.

Safety and youth participation

This is not an emergency service. Call 911 for immediate danger, or 2-1-1 for community resources. Volunteer applications are expressions of interest. Youth supervision, guardian consent, adult screening, food safety, and activity approval must be arranged by the ministry lead before service begins.
